Hello! My name is Chelsea, and I am a pre-licensed master's-level clinician who is passionate about helping families and individuals become the best version of themselves possible. I believe meaningful change can be promoted through this framework, and each family member can grow how they need, in the way they need. My work is guided through the importance of collaboration with others and ensuring that each person has the agency to change to the best of my abilities.
I earned my master’s degree in clinical counseling from The California School of Professional Psychology in 2017 and my bachelor’s in counseling psychology in 2015 and am currently pursuing my Doctor of Psychology (Psy.D.) in Clinical Psychology at Rivier University. My professional experience includes substance use and reunification with parents, to working with children and families with a variety of challenges they encounter. I have had the privilege of working with children, spouses, parents, and I am a big believer in advocacy from all levels.
I believe that working with children and families has been an honor. Through my work, I have been able to bear witness to the beautiful change and growth. Regardless of what someone encounters in life, I want them to know there are people who can be supportive, and meaningful change can be had, even when the circumstances are not ideal.
When I am not working, I am a mom to two beautiful girls, and the wife of a Navy veteran, who is my very best friend. We also have two dogs, who are the real babies of the family. I love the color yellow, the beach, and reading historical books!
