Elizabeth Sears, MA

Clinical Mental Health Counselor

Hello, my name is Liz, and I am a pre-licensed master's-level clinician who is passionate about helping children, adolescents, and young adults navigate life's challenges while discovering their strengths and resilience. I believe that every person deserves a safe, supportive space where they feel heard, understood, and empowered to grow.

My work is guided by compassion, authenticity, and a genuine commitment to building meaningful therapeutic relationships. I strive to meet each client where they are, recognizing that healing and growth look different for everyone.

I earned my master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling from Southern New Hampshire University (SNHU) in 2024 and my bachelor's in psychology in 2021 and am currently pursuing my Doctor of Psychology (Psy.D.) in Clinical Psychology at Rivier University. Through my continued education and clinical training, I remain committed to providing thoughtful, evidence-based care that meets the unique needs of each client.

My professional experience includes working in community mental health and within middle school settings, where I have had the privilege of supporting youth and families through a wide range of emotional, behavioral, and life challenges while pursuing my master’s degree. These experiences have strengthened my passion for helping young people build confidence, develop healthy coping skills, and navigate important developmental transitions.

In addition to my clinical training, I am trained in first-responder trauma and bring both professional and personal insight to this work as the wife of a first responder. I understand the unique pressures, sacrifices, and stressors that can impact first responders and their families, and I am passionate about supporting those who serve our communities.

It is a privilege to walk alongside my clients as they build confidence, overcome challenges, and create meaningful change in their lives. Whether you are facing anxiety, trauma, life transitions, or simply feeling stuck, I am committed to providing a supportive space where you can feel understood, build on your strengths, and move toward the life you want to create.

Outside of work, I am a mom taxi for two teenage girls and the wife of a career firefighter.  I have three lovable dogs: a Great Dane, who is my big baby boy, and two Lab mixes, who are the princesses.  I love to camp and just be outdoors to relax and get away.
